WORLD WIDE MUSIC VIDEO RELEASE: EDISUN "PINS AND NEEDLES" FROM THEIR ROCK ALBUM "COLLISION" AVAILABLE ON ITUNES, APPLE MUSIC AND SPOTIFY

IN ASSOCIATION WITH
SRG RECORDS (SONO RECORDING GROUP)

Presents

EDISUN - "PINS AND NEEDLES" (Official Video)

WORLD WIDE FEATURE RELEASE

The latest music video from alternative rockers EDISUN, "Pins and Needles" from their incredible album "Collision," released by Factory Underground in association with Sono Recording Group (SRG Records) on July 31, 2015. This album of nine new songs has been distributed world-wide through ILS Music Group, 3rd party aggregate to Universal Music Canada and Caroline Music US and International.

Directed by John Shyloski, the video was produced and edited on-location at Factory Underground Studio in Norwalk, Ct. The song "Pins and Needles" was recorded at the Factory Underground, with executive production by Claude Villani, production by Charley Drayton, with mixing and mastering by John Shyloski. "Pins and Needles" was written by Ethan Isaac and Joel P Kelley, and published by Echo The World (ASCAP) copyright 2015.

Edisun, whose career trajectory started with their 2011 self-titled debut album sending tracks "Medicate" and "Wide Awake" to the Top 40 of Mediabase Active Rock radio chart, first rose to national prominence after becoming the first hard rock band to tour front-line military bases in Iraq and Afghanistan performing for American troops in the Second Gulf War. Invited guests of Armed Forces Entertainment and the USO, Edisun were featured on ABC World News Tonight, in the pages of Rolling Stone, Wall Street Journal, and several other major newspapers--before they completed demos for their first album.

While the road to rock stardom is seldom an easy journey, no rock n roll band ever expects their first tour as a band to be in an active war zone, a Blackhwak helicopter for a tour bus, and Kevlar body armor worn in 100 degree desert heat. For Edisun, this is exactly how it happened for them--and according to Edisun vocalist: "an experience that changed all our lives, and part of the reason we are still playing music to this day." Edisun has to date performed for US soldiers in 25 countries, and are active supporters of veterans causes such as Wounded Warriors.

RAP ARTIST FNX "HOMETOWN LOVE" FOR NORWALK, CT-BASED CARVER COMMUNITY CENTER IN NEW HIP HOP MUSIC VIDEO

RAP ARTIST FNX "HOMETOWN LOVE" FOR NORWALK, CT-BASED CARVER COMMUNITY CENTER IN NEW HIP HOP MUSIC VIDEO

In his new rap music video titled "Hometown Love, filmed on location at Norwalk, Ct-based Carver Community Center, hip hop artist FNX returns to his local hometown roots. The video is an homage to the Connecticut hip hop music scene he is proud to represent, as well as to the community center he credits for major contributions to his success. Filming at Carver was in many ways a homecoming for FNX, himself a Carver-alumnus. "Hometown Love" is FNX coming full circle from the point where his story first began.

It hasn't been an easy life by all accounts: Growing up in poverty, forced into homelessness as a child, with his mom finding refuge in an Atlanta shelter. Yet it is a story of perseverance, overcoming life obstacles and eventual triumph. A story that may have ended a million other ways than FNX as a graduate of Southern Connecticut University, and a member of prestigious Greek-fraternal order Phi Beta Sigma.

"Returning to Carver was profoundly important to me. The kids you see in my video- those kids were me back in the day. I realized how important it is for me to be a role model that they can relate to- not just being a hip hop artist, but one with a positive message about what hard work can lead to. I want these kids to know that they can achieve their dreams, because if FNX did it, they can do it too."

The video for "Hometown Love" begins with a phone call, and a voice drawing the artist away into the night. Leaving the Norwalk, Ct-recording studio Factory Underground, where he recorded much of the music on his debut album, he meets with an associate, taking possession of a mysterious duffel bag.

"I don't explain what's in the bag at first and I leave people to wonder....but then- spoiler alert - it's FNX shirts, and I'm giving them away at the Carver Center. It was a lot of fun to shoot this video, which was like shooting a short film," FNX explains. With a cameo by Factory Underground producer Kenny Cash, "Hometown Love" was directed by John Runs.

"Hometown Love" may be seen on the FNX-branded You Tube channel and on his website www.FNXMusic.com

FACTORY UNDERGROUND PRESENTS NEW ALBUM "MOON CABIN" FROM INDIE FUNK-FOLK JAM-BAND GOOSE

FACTORY UNDERGROUND PRESENTS NEW ALBUM  "MOON CABIN" FROM INDIE FUNK-FOLK JAM-BAND GOOSE

"MOON CABIN" NOW AVAILABLE ON ITUNES, TIDAL, SPOTIFY AND RETAIL/STREAMERS WORLDWIDE

Factory Press (Norwalk, Ct): That Goose guitarist/singer/songwriter Rick Mitarotonda is soon to be a Berklee College of Music graduate is not surprising given the level of talent on stage at any Goose show, nor surprising that three of his four band members are themselves graduates of the school. It does highlight how young he is. But what is surprising is how low-key, humble, and unassuming they are--and willing to let their music do the talking--this could be the real key to their success.

Tracked in a snowbound lakeside cabin where the band held up in March 2015, engineered and co-produced by Kenny Cash, with final vocals, solos, overdubs, mixing and mastering at the Factory Underground, the resulting album Moon Cabin contains eleven "one amazing after the other" tracks. The music is a mix of funk and folk, with touches of reggae, jazz, blues and rock. As a band that has it's roots as a jam band, sure--there are plenty of solos and passages of musical improvisation. Drummer Ben Atkind, Bassist Trevor Weeks, and keyboardists/pianists Pat Carr and Chris "Doc" Enright all have their time to shine in the sun, as does Rick himself. But it doesn't take more than a few seconds to realize you're not listening to a jam band record-- this is a record with deeply rich songwriting, huge melodic hooks, thoughtful lyrics, and even passages of three-part harmony vocals. "Moon Cabin" are a record of well written and well recorded songs.

I was instantly smitten with the song "Lead the Way," and thought it could easily be single on Triple A or College radio-- the hook is so big you could hang your hat on it. The vocal quality is reminiscent of Dave Matthews (on of Rick's early influences) and the fun chorus has a instantly sing-along quality. After two and a half minutes when most bands would end on a double chorus- Goose does the unexpected. There is what I have learned is called a "cesura," a timely pause, which fades in with a musical interlude that has a wonderful swirling quality to it, and takes your mind to a brand new place, culminating with a repeated and well harmonized vocal melody over a brilliantly played piano solo that is quite epic in the moment-- but then musically, somehow-- this transforms back into the final chorus of the original melody and lyric in brilliant fashion. The lyric itself refers to the name Sadie, and you might even think this a love song with the brilliant line: "I've packed every inch of the getaway car... I'm saving shotgun for you." I asked Rick about Sadie--she had been a sweet dog he loved. Perfect.

Moon Cabin is now available on iTunes, Spotify, Beatport, Tidal, and a slew of retail and streaming sites around the world, with marketing and distribution and administration by Factory Underground Records. An eight week radio promotional campaign will send the album to College CMJ and Triple A stations nationally with a March 15 Add-date, under the direction of Brandon Day at Tinderbox Music.

FACTORY UNDERGROUND PRODUCER KENNY CASH ANNOUNCES #FREEFORCT: ROYALTY FREE BEAT COLLECTION ON SOUNDCLOUD: HIPHOP INSTRUMENTALS, BOOM BAP, TRAP, UK GRIME

Factory Press (Norwalk, Ct) "2015 was such a huge year for me musically. I just wanted to give back. I created these beats to give out to my people in Connecticut as a thank you for all the support this year. But then I thought would just put them out there for the world and Im happy if people use them, enjoy my work," said Factory Underground producer Kenny Cash about his recent #FreeForCT release of all 100% original royalty-free, sample-free material.

Kenny Cash who is also known as one half of the indie pop group Che-Val, also plays bass with indie rock Americana group Lines West. A graduate of the Berklee School of Music whose roots are in jazz, gospel and hip hop, the producer has worked with several prominent rap artists including Chris Webby and Fred the Godson.

"I work with so many different types of music, but hip hop is deep in my heart, and my Ct crew are some of the best hip hop talent in the world in my opinion. They have always supported me as i was building (at the Factory Underground), so I love giving back to the community as much as I can. I made these beats first just for my Ct people. Finally I decided I would give them up to the world too--just to let people know what's happening up here in Norwalk, Ct."

"So again for the record, these are royalty-free for the taking?"

"Yes, totally. I hope people will use them and shout me out--that's all I ask. Tweet me, hashtag me, whatever-- its all good. I just want people to enjoy them, use them, be creative and have fun. I tried to mix them up and give some different vibes, some Hip Hop instrumentals, some Boom Bap, some trap and some UK Grime."

"And these are all original music?"

"Yes, 100% composed by me, recorded into Logic at my Factory Underground studio. I use a slew of different sounds, synths, plug ins, and drum machines--but there are no samples to be cleared--its all original."

"How are you distributing these beats?

"They're all on Soundcloud. Real easy and simple: https://soundcloud.com/handsomemoneymusic/sets/free-tee

"How can people get in touch with you and how can artists submit their material for production?

"It's simple. Call me at the studio. I'm here. 203-275-8672 or FactoryUndergroundStudio@gmail.com I'm always down to give a listen to a new artist, and I love collaborating on songs, productions, beats... anything. Music is my life- it never stops."
